Tell Congress: Fund Title VII and VIII programs that build a stronger health care workforce

The U.S. faces growing shortages of health care providers, particularly in and rural and other underserved areas. To meet these needs, we must invest in the training programs that grow and support the next generation of providers.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Title VII health professions and VIII nursing workforce development programs support the education and training of physicians, nurses, mental health professionals, public health practitioners, and others. These successful programs prioritize eliminating barriers to access to care, community-based care, and workforce distribution in high-need areas.

Urge Congress to provide at least $1.51 billion in FY 2026 for these critical programs.
